(Madrid) Jan-Michael Steils, co-founder of pureMilk analytical GmbH, and key developer of the innovative fractionation unit for milk – FraMiTrACR® – presented the first results on trace analysis of chlorate and perchlorate at the World Buiatric Congress in early September. In the “Food Safety and Public Health” session, he was able to present how the use of this fast, passive method for sample preparation not only allows to achieve the required detection limits for highly sensitive trace analysis, e.g. using LC-MS/MS, but also provides a significant potential for savings in labor time and costs in laboratories.
